We are on the cusp of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, or Industry 4.0. AI, robotics, 3D printing, and big data is accelerating the development of our physical world, but yet we still live in such divisive time. Terrorism and violent protesting caused by divisive and destructive politics around the world is destroying infrastructures, historical heritage and most importantly, the relationship between people with different interests. There is an urgent need to deliver the idea of a reunion, connecting and equality through art and design, to build our future with peace and constructive emotions.
This 3D printed Buddha sculpture is modelled based on a 14th century Tibetan buddha statue and embodied with a projection of a blooming flower from his mind. The upper five petals represent the five oceans, and the lower seven petals represent the seven continents. This mixed media sculpture emphasises that everything is subject to the circle of life and all the living beings as one body: we birth, growth, decline, decay, rebirth together, and so on. Therefore no matter which future we are heading to, we are equal and connected.

JELLY BEAR is a film which illustrates Johnson's nightmare, which reflects his trauma as a soldier who had been through wars and anxiety about his family. The Syria conflicts forced more than 900,000 people to flee their homes and left the city in ruins. If the numbers and news about conflicts do not interest you, this film, about a soldier's subconscious, will help you to empathise with the physical and mental challenges that can affect the people involved. The refugees and newborns in the war areas urgently need your help to provide vulnerable families with shelter, food and water.
In Tibet, people believe the highest and most appealing mountain in their region is a symbol of Buddha and wellness. They pray, travelling alongside the mountain trails all the way from the bottom to the top. In the city, everyone is working toward their own Himalaya; a journey made with effort through prayer and polishing for a better life.

Commissioned by MICHELLE YANG (RCA Product Design) to design a video content for her Cero table set. By moving the camera tightly and gently, the beauties of her design elements magnified, which are all condensed inside the layout of the grids and it's minimalistic structure.
Time and the way that how we perceive the world are both illusions of our mind, where our every individual's karma limited our sensation. My memory of Baiyü Zong appears as an illusionary moving image when I meditate, which illustrates the most insightful moment and the landscape at that time.
Often people’s different habit could become their part of identity, and also an unconscious relationship between us and a daily object or behaviour will be built through the pattern; when I reflect on my regular using of a smartphone, the memories of the most of unlocking and using moment lost without any trace. To understand the absence of my conscious and missing minds, we recorded every unlocking moment of a smartphone during a day and produced a visible pattern by using AI.
